CREATION STATION ACTIVITY BOOKLET
Creation Station was an art program delivered across four primary schools in the NSW 2168 postcode. The program was designed to support a child’s right to play, to dream, to create and to lead; a space where children use the power of imagination to curate, design and share their art experiences with the world.
The activity booklet was one component of the program. It was made by the students at Ashcroft Public School, Busby West Public School, Cartwright Public School and Heckenberg Public School in 2020 with artists Florence Araniego, Liam Benson, Trey Thomas for Street University and Nick Wishart. Creation Station has been made possible through the Australia Council for the Arts and in collaboration with Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and 2168 Children’s Parliament. The 2168 Children’s Parliament is a partnership between Liverpool City Council and Mission Australia under the Australian Government funded ‘2168’ Communities for Children Programme.
